Call for contributions

After receiving 110 session proposals and confirming 40 sessions, the 2nd European Carbon Farming Summit is now seeking contributions to support its overarching goals of transformation, inclusivity, and practical implementation of carbon farming.

We particularly welcome posters and short oral presentations aligned with one of the following topics:

  • Carbon farming practices in agriculture
  • Carbon farming in forests
  • Carbon farming in peatland
  • Farmers’ perspectives
  • MRV development: sensing and IA
  • MRV development: baselines, uncertainties and benchmarking models
  • Business models, insetting and value chain
  • Implementing the CRCF (methodologies, baseline)
  • Supporting policy development
  • Carbon farming financing and rewarding mechanisms: voluntary market and CRCF
  • Integrating different levels and perspectives (from Regions to Europe)
  • Contribution of CF to broader sustainability issues
  • Biodiversity opportunities
  • Bioeconomy, circularity and biochar contributions to CF
  • Long-term impacts of carbon farming

Submissions should reflect our expected outcomes of building trust in carbon farming, supporting the CRCF, and enlarging the EU carbon farming community. Contributions that yield to practical guidance for CF implementation will be prioritised.
