Theme Sponsors

Shaping the conversation on carbon farming

The 3rd European Carbon Farming Summit is made possible with the support of leading organisations committed to scaling credible, fair, and effective carbon farming across Europe.

Our Theme Sponsors contribute not only to the success of the summit but also to the strategic direction of its content. By aligning with a specific topic – from farmer engagement and finance to monitoring frameworks or policy – sponsors help shape key discussions and ensure diverse, real-world perspectives are represented.

We're proud

to showcase the organisations supporting this year's summit:

MARS Logo
MARS

Mars, Incorporated is a family-owned global agri-food company with a diverse portfolio spanning pet care, food, and snacking, serving consumers and pets around the world. With agriculture representing a significant share of its Scope 3 emissions, Mars works closely with farmers across its value chains to support the transition toward more sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices.

As a Theme Sponsor of 'Financing carbon farming at scale', Mars is contributing to discussions on how farmers can be better supported through effective financial incentives and blended public-private investment models. The company is keen to engage with policymakers, researchers, and industry partners on how to scale carbon farming in a way that is both credible and economically viable for farmers. Learn more about MARS.

BASF Logo
BASF

BASF is a global company active across the agricultural value chain, supporting farmers and partners in advancing more sustainable and climate-smart agricultural systems. Through its Global Carbon Farming Program, BASF works with farmers to adopt practices that enhance soil health, increase carbon sequestration, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while also supporting farm resilience and productivity.

As a Theme Sponsor of 'From Practice to Impact', BASF is contributing practical insights and real-world experience from implemented carbon farming projects across different crops, regions, and production systems. The company is keen to engage with farmers, researchers, policymakers, and value chain partners on how climate-smart practices can deliver measurable impact and support the transition toward a more competitive and sustainable agricultural and forestry sector. Learn more about BASF.

LILAS4SOILS Logo
LILAS4SOILS

LILAS4SOILS is a Horizon Europe project working to accelerate the transition to healthier soils across southern Europe, particularly in the rapidly warming Mediterranean region. Through five Living Labs across six countries, the project brings together farmers, researchers, industry and local authorities to test carbon farming practices across diverse agricultural systems.

At the Summit, LILAS4SOILS will support the theme “Thinking Beyond Carbon”, which explores the wider environmental and social co-benefits of carbon farming – including soil health, biodiversity, water resilience and community engagement. By working directly with farmers and stakeholders, the project contributes valuable insights into how carbon farming practices can be implemented in real-world conditions and how Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems can support credible and scalable carbon farming approaches. Learn more about LILAS4SOILS.

Exhibitors

Spotlighting innovation in carbon farming and regenerative agriculture

Our exhibition space features innovative start-ups, service providers, research initiatives and projects advancing the future of land-based climate solutions.

Throughout the summit, exhibitors engage with attendees, share their work, and foster meaningful dialogue across the agri-food, land use and climate ecosystem.

Life Climate Sponsor
Life Climate

Life Climate is a climate consultancy with over 15 years of experience working in carbon markets in Türkiye. The organisation develops soil organic carbon and regenerative agriculture projects, integrating robust MRV approaches, farmer engagement, and decarbonisation strategies to support credible and scalable carbon farming initiatives. Most notably, Life Climate submitted Türkiye's first soil carbon project to VERRA.

At the summit, Life Climate will exchange best practices, strengthen international collaboration, and contribute to discussions on advancing credible carbon farming methodologies. Learn more about Life Climate.

ESA Logo
The ESA Stakeholder Engagement facility

The ESA Stakeholder Engagement Facility (SEF) supports the European Space Agency (ESA) in engaging with diverse user communities to promote the uptake of Earth Observation (EO) solutions. The SEF raises awareness of EO-based tools, provides practical support to help stakeholders get started, and gathers user requirements to inform the future development of EO services.

At the Summit, SEF will showcase EO solutions relevant to carbon farming and contribute to the development of a knowledge exchange hub connecting users and solution providers. The team will engage stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and advance the use of EO applications in carbon farming. Learn more about ESA.

LENS Logo
The Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs)

Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs) brings organisations together to co-fund and implement regenerative agriculture and nature-based solutions that strengthen landscape resilience. Since 2021, LENs has delivered more than €30 million from partners including Nestlé, Diageo and regional utilities and local governments to over 350 farmers, supporting practices such as cover crops, minimum tillage and habitat restoration.

At the Summit, LENs will share insights from its landscape-scale funding model, demonstrating how collaborative finance can improve soil health, water quality, biodiversity, and climate mitigation, while de-risking supply chains and supporting farmer livelihoods. Learn more about LENs.

Life Programme Sponsor
The Life Programme

The LIFE Programme is the European Union’s dedicated funding instrument for the environment and climate action, supporting projects that contribute to nature protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation, circular economy, and the clean energy transition. With a budget of €5.4 billion for 2021–2027, LIFE finances innovative and scalable solutions that advance EU environmental objectives, including sustainable land use and nature-based climate action.

At the Summit, LIFE will highlight participating projects including LIFE ClimatePositive, WOOD4LIFE, LIFE PeatCarbon, LIFE OLIVER, LIFE VITICASE, and LIFE SUPER EU. Together, these initiatives demonstrate how EU-funded projects can support credible carbon farming, biodiversity protection, and climate action, while translating policy priorities into practical, on-the-ground impact.
